Standard Modules

Voltarlux^® ASI-Standard

VOLTARLUX^® standard modules are laminates with a standardised structure measuring 600 mm x 1000 mm. They are made both with opaque and transparent ASI thin-film modules as shown below:

The electrical connections are fed through holes drilled in the back panel and soldered into connection buttons with cables. The standard modules are factory-equipped with MC plugs / sockets.

VOLTARLUX^® standard modules are identical to the ASI OPAK 30 SG and ASI THRU 30 SG modules made by RWE SCHOTT Solar GmbH. They are certified according to IEC 61646.

VOLTARLUX^® standard modules have been approved by the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (German Institute of Architectural Engineering) in Berlin (approval no. Z-70.3-72 for ASI THRU and extended to ASI OPAK). They are therefore suitable for use as e.g. overhead glazing or as photovoltaic facade cladding (see "Facade System").
