Laminates
Voltarlux® ASI-T-Mono
Laminates are polyvinyl butyral (PVB) composite panels constructed as shown below:
ASI thin-film modules are laminated into position between front and back plates made from partially pre-tensioned glass. If necessary, glass edge strips can be inserted to customise the dimensions of the laminates. The electrical connections are fed through holes drilled in the back panel and soldered into connection buttons with cables. Laminates are factory-equipped with MC plugs/sockets. The thickness of the glass used for the front and back panels is tailored to the static requirements.
VOLTARLUX® laminates can be made in sizes up to a maximum of 2,500 mm x 1,200 mm (or 2,450 mm x 1,250 mm).
VOLTARLUX® laminates are UL-certified in sizes up to 1,500 mm x 1,230 mm (essentially equivalent to the IEC certificate).
