VOLTARLUX^® insulating glass is insulating glass with integral transparent ASI thin-film modules constructed as shown below:


The ASI thin-film modules are laminated onto the front panel of the insulating glass. The back panel of this composite structure is protected by the inner pane of the insulating glass. The insulating glass inner panel can be supplied with any kind of glass structure, e.g. for overhead glazing in particular. Insulating glass is factory-equipped with MC plugs / sockets.

The thickness of the glass used for the front and back panels is tailored to the static requirements. VOLTARLUX^® insulating glass panels can be made in sizes up to a maximum of 2,500 mm x 1,200 mm (or 2,450 mm x 1,250 mm).

VOLTARLUX^® insulating glass panels (incl. cable feed-through) are tested according to DIN 1279, Parts 2 and 3 "Glass in Building" (test to determine the moisture uptake and gas loss rate of glazing).

VOLTARLUX^® insulating glass panels are also UL certified (essentially equivalent to the IEC certificate).
